Process

Hot-dip galvanizing (HDG) is the process of coating iron or steel with a thin zinc layer by passing the steel through a molten bath of zinc at a temperature of around 860°F (460°C).

The zinc forms a, fairly strong protective layer on the steel below. Galvanized steel is widely used in applications where rust resistance is required.

Our galvanizing plant, designed by Protherm Engineering UK, is equipped with a spacious zinc kettle measuring 16m x 1.6m x 2.8m. This state-of-the-art facility is fully capable of meeting all galvanizing requirements efficiently and effectively. Our HDG services can be used for low, medium, or heavy structural steel types. To meet customers’ aesthetic requirements, we also offer a wide selection of finishes, ranging between traditional galvanized or protective color coatings, such as paint-over galvanized poles.
