Poles

Tazez’s extensive range of steel poles encompasses various thicknesses and lengths, with a maximum of 16 m. Due to the increasingly high demand for our products, both locally and in the wider GCC region, we had to double our production capabilities and streamline operations.
Our poles have several uses, including industrial, streetlight, lighting for stadiums, raising and lowering types for highways, decorative, traffic signaling, advertising, security/camera, and general-purpose poles. They can be also broken into low and medium voltage distribution poles, high voltage transmission monopoles (up to 132 KV), and communication monopoles for power istribution/transmission needs. Apart from these, we can also build custom poles to meet customers’ more specific requirements.

Telecommunication Towers

Tazez has started the production line for Telecommunication Towers. We are in the process of finalizing approvals from all the major telecommunication providers in the Kingdom and have approached Nokia, Huawei and other service operators to supply them within the GCC.

Pole Production Process

Our pole manufacturing process is a fascinating journey, where precision and advanced technology merge seamlessly.
  1. It starts with the uncoiling of hot-rolled coil (HRC) steel, where the hot material is carefully pulled apart.

With a capacity of 30 tons and a maximum width of up to 2100 mm, we ensure that the material is properly primed for further shaping.
  2. In the next stage, the HRC gets cut to the required length by our Trapezoidal Shear & Marking Station.

We can shear coil ranging from 3 to 10 mm ST-52 Grade, with a minimum shearing width of 170 mm.
  3. Our trusted press break machine then takes over, taking the reshaped material and bending it accurately and swiftly into a shell.

This automated machine can form High Mast & Monopoles up to 32mm thickness, with a forming range of 3mm to 12mm per plate diameter and 1m to 15m in length. With a total tonnage capacity of 1280 tons, we are equipped to handle even the most demanding projects.
  4. For the required subsequent welding, we utilize our automatic shaft welding machine.

This remarkable piece of technology guarantees the straightness and stability of the poles during the welding process. With its sophisticated control system, it seamlessly welds both round cut and polygonal poles. The welding line can accommodate poles up to 15m in length, ensuring precision and efficiency throughout.
  5. For conical and polygonal poles, we employ our “Plasma Door Cutting Machine.”

It skillfully creates the door openings, enabling easy access to the poles. The cutting range spans from 2mm to 10mm thick plates, and with our innovative system, we can even repurpose the scrap as a door cover. Additionally, the poles and doors are marked for seamless pairing after the galvanizing process.
  6. Finally, our CNC Profile Cutting Machine adds the finishing touch.

With its exceptional capabilities for special shape cutting, a table size of 2.5m x 16m, and a cutting thickness range of 2mm to 60mm, it ensures precise and intricate designs.
